Bagpipe 'Give-it-a-Go' Workshops and Q&As
Try something completely different with a bagpipe 'Give-it-a-Go' session. Great for anything from corporate and tourist events, to private trips and hen parties!

After learning a little about the history of the bagpipes, you/your guests will walk through the basics of piping on the practice chanter (we will provide enough for one each up to a maximum of 15 per session), before everyone has the opportunity to try out the full bagpipes (pipes are shared but will be cleaned between individuals).
Give-it-a-Go workshops will be tailored specifically to the group and can be adapted to all ages, group sizes and musical experience levels. For large groups, we will also provide an additional instructor to keep everyone right. If you have an idea to make your workshop extra special for your group, just let us know!
If you or your guests would prefer something a little less hands-on, arrange a Q&A session to learn more about the instrument, its tradition and history. Q&A sessions are always extremely popular and Rachel has become known for her friendly and entertaining style (Don't just take our word for it, read our testimonials here!).
Give it a Go and Q&A sessions can be booked separately but also make great add-ons to events where Rachel has been hired to play for guests. Prices are by arrangement and will be dependent on group size, travel requirements and venue arrangement (if needed). Get in touch to arrange yours!
